Chelated minerals
Chelating certain trace minerals increases the digestibility up to 80-200%.
Natural Vitamin E (d-alpha-tocopherol)
Compared to synthetic Vitamin E (dl-alpha-tocopherol), natural Vitamin E is absorbed up to 180% better than synthetic.
Natural Vitamin E also:

Assurance Ration Balancers
Provide essential amino acids, vitamins and minerals. Ration balancers are formulated to provide micro-nutrients which are absent in pasture, hay, and grains for all lifestyles
Assurance Ration Balancer Grass and Ration Balancer Alfalfa are protein, vitamin and mineral products for all ages and lifestyles of horses. Both are fortified with essential amino acids, vitamins and minerals. The Ration Balancers are stand alone products; or may be fed with oats or grain rations to provide nutrients missing in hay or pasture. This nutritional duo is more economical than most supplements because of the high nutrient density (more vitamins and minerals, less carrier ingredients). Ration Balancer Grass is the product of choice when the hay or pasture being fed is predominately grass. Choose Ration Balancer Alfalfa when feeding predominately alfalfa.

Assurance Performance Blend
Balanced Nutrition to Maximize Athletic Horsepower
Formulated especially for athletic horses, Performance Blend is a balance of soybean oil and carbohydrate energy sources. Oil promotes more stamina and endurance, shiny hair, enhanced bloom and reduces the risk of starch overload and colic. Carbohydrates provide the quick energy needed to meet the anaerobic demands of the equine athlete. The low protein level results in dryer stalls and less ammonia. Performance Blend LoCarb has a lower level of nonstructural carbohydrates (NSC) for performance horses sensitive to carbohydrates. Performance Blend products are fortified with natural vitamin E, a source of omega 3 fatty acids and chelated minerals.
